'Marine Life' is an exploration of the pedal steel guitar as a means of conjuring dreamy soundscapes and expressing abstract emotions, inviting the listener to get lost in expansive sonic environments. Dark and moody harmonic textures blend their way around rich progressions, guided by deep hip-hop bass hooks and heavy downtempo drum grooves. These combined elements work together to paint soaring pathways through deep waters, towering clouds, and radiant constellations.
